This is a part-time (minimum of two days) remote internship position.

Kids Above All is currently seeking an intern to provide support to the Human Resources department. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in the recruiting aspect Human Resources. This is an unpaid internship.

About Us: Kids Above All helps Chicagoland's at-risk children and their families build, achieve and sustain better lives.

Kids Above All is a highly experienced, multidisciplinary child and family services network that reaches children and families facing adversity in the Illinois counties of Cook, Lake and DuPage. We focus on providing in-depth, community-based programs to underserved children and their families, foster parents and other caregivers.

Kids Above All's programs includes foster care and adoption, group homes, child care, early childhood education and parenting support, enhanced by healthy lifestyle information and college/career readiness support.

Internship Summary: The HR Recruiting Intern will assist with the recruiting process by:

  • Candidate sourcing and learning how to use an applicant tracking system
  • Reviewing resumes
  • Conducting phone interviews,
  • Coordinating virtual interviews
  • Assist with on-boarding/off-boarding process (job postings, interview packets, new hire packets, reference checks)
  • Organize & maintain personnel files
  • Various HR projects

Requirements:

* Candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
* Must be team oriented with a high level of professionalism
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
* Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Must be able to commit to working a minimum of 2 days per week. This is an unpaid internship.
